"One lawyer, two clients" is a process of divorce where one lawyer works with both spouses to help them to divorce amicably. David is a Partner at Ward Hadaway and was the first solicitor in England and Wales to represent both parties in a divorce. He won Partner of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards in 2022, National Associate Solicitor of the Year in 2017 and was the youngest ever National Head of Family Law in his former role. He is a member of Resolution’s National Committee, Chairman of a Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Service and a Governor of Roundhay School in Leeds. David also owns a busy Italian restaurant with his wife and together they have a two year old daughter and a beagle.
